Sentence Making Activity

Since we finished reading the Sight Words Readers, it's a great time to start reading and making sentences!
Today, we used three sets of colored cards to make sentences.  Some students used the cards to make funny sentences like 'I eat books' and 'You make cats'.  It was fun and they learned a lot!  Here are some pictures of students and their sentences.

This funny boy wrote: You make cats.  I eat friends. (So he was smiling...)
I have toys. You make friends.

I have friends.  You eat cookies.
