Story Time-Deep in the Forest
This week’s book ‘Deep in the Forest’ is a wordless book.  It means it doesn’t have any words.  Students are then challenged to tell the story with their words and ideas.  Teacher will ask students what is happening in the pictures.  Students answer with short sentences like, “The bear eats the baby’s food” or “Mom and dad get angry.”
Activity-Forest Finger Painting
Students use paints and shaped sponges to make a forest picture.  Students will be encouraged to use ideas and characters from ‘Deep in the Forest’.
